Recommended Alternatives Presented at the 2/28/24 Public Meeting
Engler Alternative B - Diamond Interchange: Addition of on and off ramps at the existing Engler grade separation of I-25 to create a new diamond interchange.
Lohman to US 70 - I-25 Alternative C - Three Lane: Addition of one lane on I-25 in each direction to create a total of 3 lanes in each direction between Lohman and US 70, includes the widening of Spruce Bridge. Includes improvements to the Lohman Interchange to add additional right turn lanes and longer left turn lanes along Lohman.
Thorpe Corridor Alternative 6: Reconfiguration of Thorpe Road to align the intersection of Camino Real with Vanegas, and the addition of 2 roundabouts to slow traffic and provide safe pedestrian access across Thorpe Road. Sidewalk incorporated throughout project limits. Raised medians will provide access control along Thorpe.
